Golfing Heaven!!

Widely known as the spiritual home of golf, Scotland provides a host of courses for golfers of all levels. Here in Angus on the East Coast, with some of the world's most famous golf courses on our doorstep - you will not be disappointed!!

Our closest course, the Montrose Medal Links, is renowned for being the 5th Oldest in the World and host to many major events during its history. Most recently being a final qualifying course for the 2007 Open Championship held at Carnoustie.

Thereafter you have a choice of courses each within ten to thirty minutes travelling time from our home, including

Carnoustie - Three 18 hole links courses including the famous Championship Course, The Burnside Course and Budden Links Course, 18 miles South West of Greenbank B&B.

Monifieth - Choice of two courses, the 18-hole Medal Course and also the 18 hole Ashludie Course, both 22 miles South West of Greenbank B&B.

Not to mention, Forfar Golf Club 16 miles South West & Stonehaven Golf Course 21 miles North East of our home.

For those willing to travel a little further, 29 miles South West, there's the world's oldest surviving golf club, The Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews. Here you can play a variety of courses, including the Jubilee Course, Eden Course, Old Course, Glen's Course, Balgove, Strathtyrum & the New Course, all just over an hour's drive from Greenbank.

In the opposite direction you have a choice of many fine courses in Aberdeenshire, including Nigg Bay, Hazelhead, Royal Aberdeen, Kings Links, Murcar, Deeside & Banchory to name but a few. Again these are just over an hour's drive North of our home.
